What we hold

Account details (name, email, a scrypt hash of your password), your projects (sheet names, scale calibrations, measurements, markup geometry and text), and billing identifiers from Stripe. We never hold card numbers — payment details are taken by Stripe, Inc. on their own page. Your drawing files are not stored by us: they stay in your browser.

Who controls it

You are the controller of the records you enter; we are the processor, acting on your instructions. We hold and process those records only to run the service you asked for.

Where it lives

On servers provided by Fly.io (US region, iad), with the database on an encrypted-at-rest volume. Emails and requests are transmitted over TLS.

Sub-processors

Fly.io (hosting, US-Virginia) and Stripe, Inc. (payments). If we add another, this page changes and the change is noted below.

Cookies

One cookie: an HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax session cookie that keeps a signed-in user signed in. No analytics, no advertising trackers, no third-party embeds, no external fonts or scripts — every asset is served from this domain.

Retention

Records are kept while the account is open, and deleted within 30 days of cancellation or of a deletion request; database backups age out within 7 days.

Your rights

Write to support@algd.store to access, correct, export or delete your data, or to object to processing. You can export your measurement schedule as CSV from the app at any time, without asking us.

International transfers

Our providers (Fly.io, Stripe) may process data outside the UK/EEA; those transfers rely on their standard contractual clauses.
